A Chef Gastro-Engineering leads and oversees EPC-based (Evidence-Practice-Creative) transformation and transmission processes within kitchen and distribution environments, with a constant focus on improvement. In this role, food products are transformed into meals and meal components with added value and added benefit, taking into account technical, hygienic, organoleptic, nutritional, economic, socio-cultural, and ecological factors. These elements are carefully aligned with the desires, needs, well-being, and health of the end user.
